Work Wear Safety Shoes Announces its Support Partnership with Hire Heroes USA

Support will include raising awareness for the charity as well as financial contributions

Coleman McDonald, CEO of Work Wear Safety Shoes announced the company’s
alliance with Hire Heroes USA. “It’s our honor to be able to support Hire Heroes in the
important work they are doing. The entire Work Wear team takes great pride in
volunteering and supporting worthy causes; we couldn’t be more impressed with Hire
Heroes USA and are proud of this new relationship with them,” shared Coleman who is
not only the CEO and owner of the company, but also a former Air Force fighter pilot

Hire Heroes USA is the top employment resource for transitioning U.S. military
members, veterans and military spouses, topping 23,000 lifetime hires – more than
8,000 of those in 2017 alone. The national nonprofit is the leading veteran service
organization specifically targeting the issues of unemployment and underemployment
among veterans, and its free career coaching services include resume, networking and
interview assistance, federal sector help, mock interviews, and job sourcing.

“Our Customers want to do business with a company that gives back and our
employees love working for a company with a purpose. Our new relationship with Hire
Heroes has been exciting for everyone,” stated Matthew Hudson, Chief Experience
Officer for Work Wear. “With several of our employees having served in the military, we
searched for an organization that was working with veterans directly. We will work to
raise awareness of the great work Hire Heroes is doing with our Customers in our
stores, mobile stores and online, but we wanted to make a difference as well. That is
why in 2018, we will be donating $2 for every Tegopro safety shoe and $1 for every
Tegopro insole sold in our stores to Hire Heroes to aid them in their efforts to transition
active and former military into civilian work life. Now that’s exciting!” said Matthew.

“Hire Heroes USA is grateful to Work Wear, their employees and customers for this
generous support,” said Christopher Plamp, Chief Operating Officer and interim CEO of
Hire Heroes USA and a retired Air Force fighter pilot. “As our nonprofit continues to
grow, so has the demand for our free employment services. Funding like this enables us
to increase the impact we can make on the lives of the men and women who have
served in the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.”
